Dante Chicano and Greenman Adventures
Dante has been on the Rewilding path since tasting the first gulp of sweet air in the countryside in an otherwise smoggy landscape of an industrial hometown. He has followed the 'Wild Calling' Westward for the last 25 years, dwelling in Nature, downloading messages directly from Source. After a period of over ten years, he decided it was time to bring his experience & learning directly to the people: Elemental medicine, plant and animal knowledge, Spirit Guides and Soul philosophy are now shared lessons & teachings for everyone who has the ears to hear and the heart to receive.

- Laura Jesson
After high school, Laura completed her BA in Psychology at the University of Guelph, and went on to study Wellness and Lifestyle Management at Centennial College in Toronto. With a lifelong passion of feeling good in her body she started working in the field of health and wellness. Laura found yoga in her early 30’s and knew she was in the right place experiencing the many benefits of the practice. She knew she needed to teach and went on to her first 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Moksha Yoga in 2007. She then trained with Janice Clarfield in Prenatal Yoga, Bernie Clark in Yin Yoga, Michael Stone in the Meditation Facilitation Mentorship Program, and many teachers in between in her journey of practice and life long learning. Laura met Wes Gietz after moving across Cananda and dove into Earth Based Study and practice. From many hours and now over a decade in the sweat lodge, to a vision quest, learning in Sacred Awareness Training and being a part of the originial committee of Firemaker, Laura continues to walk the earth in a gentle, loving way.

The vision of WildSpirit is to shift human consciousness to be in harmony with the wildness of the Natural world. We recognize that there is still "wildness" in every being, that there is a hunger for connectedness and thirst for understanding of one's place in the web of life. At WildSpirit we offer connections. We reawaken wildness. Bruce walks the edge of wildness and domestication.

Rob McDonald
Rob has been teaching Wilderness Survival skills for eight years at various venues. He grew up in the woods in Central British Columbia and followed that up with attending the world renowned Trackerschool in New Jersey. His passion is passing on the skills necessary for people to live close to the earth independently of modern civilization.
Arnaud Gagne
Arnaud has been teaching wilderness skills and facilitating deep nature connection for over 15 years. He has worked with many well known organizations including Outward Bound Canada where he honed his advanced facilitation and mentoring skills. His deeper journey of connection to the natural world began with Jon Young's Kamana naturalist training program over 12 years ago. Arnaud proceeded to become one of the rare few to complete this self-motivated deep dive into the journey of seeing through native eyes. Many years of “dirt time” tracking, practising ancestral skills and building ropes of connection to all living things makes his knowledge very real and embodied. He walks in two worlds,
integrating ancient skills and wisdom into a modern context. He continues to receive direct mentoring from Jon Young and the 8 Shields Institute in the arts of culture repair, village building and holistic tracking. He is also exploring the path of deeper connection, healing and ceremony supported by Sal Gencarelle and the Helpers Mentoring Society.
Arnaud is committed to helping restore a culture that prioritizes connection to nature, self and community for all ages and stages of life locally and globally. His vision is that in every person is a unique gift that is like a bird song. When someone sings their song, concentric rings of beauty ripple out into the world starting with their family and community, reaching all the way into the natural world and the future generations. Aligning our hearts and minds with nature supported by a healthy mentoring culture helps us find that song, the most powerful expression of our true self.
From interacting directly with the land as a hunter/gatherer and supporting connective community events to helping further the reach of the 8 Shields movement alongside it's global leaders, Arnaud lives and breathes these ways not only as a livelihood but as a lifestyle. Most people also find he has a creative, playful love for life and a good sense of humour.
Arnaud facilitates adult programs through the Wisdom of the Earth Wilderness School on Salt Spring Island and the Thriving Roots Wilderness School in Victoria. He also mentors people 1 on 1 through the deep nature connection journey with the help of online courses
designed by Jon Young and the 8Shields Institute.
